Responsibilities
- The Senior Manager of Sales Operations plays an integral and critical strategic role in the growth of Tata Electronics. Their core responsibility is to drive Sales Process Optimization, Sales Data Management, Reporting, Forecasting, Go to Market and Long-Term Plan Strategy Planning to ensure alignment, standardization and adherence to the overall Tata Electronics Sales Process. The successful candidate will have a strong Sales Operations and Marketing background, with excellent process optimization, Go To Market skillset and proven experience in leveraging social media platforms to effectively develop a marketing campaign to target 1 OEM EMS customers within the consumer electronics manufacturing domain. - Design, implement, and continuously improve sales processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness across global sales teams.
- Standardize sales operations practices across regions to ensure consistency and alignment with corporate goals
- Manage and maintain the integrity of sales data within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Teams).
- Develop and deliver comprehensive sales performance reports, dashboards, and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Analyze sales trends, pipeline health, and key metrics to identify areas for improvement or growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and finance teams to develop accurate and timely sales forecasts.
- Track and monitor sales targets, ensuring alignment with company revenue goals.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating respective CRM Tools (Salesforce) to manage opportunities and sales pipeline visibility.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to support business growth.
- Drive and collaborate on TEPL Go To Market strategy.
- Collaborate and drive social media campaigns and market reach out.
- Responsible for yearly Customer Satisfaction scorecard and reporting.
- Supports the sales team in delivering seamless customer interactions, presentations and market/competitor analyses.
Essential Attributes
- Experience working within the Sales Organization framework of a Tier 1 Global EMS company.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across disciplines in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and making decisions in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
- Understands the critical role sales operations play in customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- MBA or Master's in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred for senior roles.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales and marketing or related roles within the consumer electronics or manufacturing sectors (desired)
- Experience in sales operations, marketing operations, demand planning, or business analytics in B2B industries.
- Experience with campaign management, marketing automation platforms and lead management workflows
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that enhance sales performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
Desired Experience Level
- 5+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing.
- Track record of delivering Go To Market strategies and developing B2B Social media marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with CRM and business processes tools.
