Job Description
The Senior Manager Omnichannel Launch Excellence, Medical Digital Engagement & Insights (Sr. Mgr., MDE&I) requires a blend of technical and soft skills to lead successful launches or releases for US Medical's digital engagement initiatives across multiple stakeholder touchpoints. The role requires a deep understanding of digital and omnichannel strategies to scale to other therapeutic areas, aligning with US Medical's overarching omnichannel objectives. Must be able to effectively collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish and manage related business systems and related technical aspects to deliver cohesive experience and impactful scientific exchange for US HCPs.

The Sr. Mgr., MDE&I will report into the Head of Medical Digital Engagement and work alongside Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including Digital Capability Leads (DCLs), and Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T) platform owners; and US Medical functions to develop and execute comprehensive launch strategies for new capabilities and tactics, ensure business and technical alignment with stakeholder input, and adapt to US Medical ecosystem priorities.

The Sr. Mgr., MDE&I is a critical role within the US Medical (USM) organization that reports to the Omnichannel Engagement Lead.

A "continuous improvement mindset" is needed to support the evolution andscaling of MDE&I capabilities over time.As anessential component of US Medical's omnichannel strategy, it is necessary for this individual to leverage best practices and various business systems to achieve scientific engagement objectives for US Medical.

OBJECTIVE:
  • Formulate and execute strategic omnichannel launch initiatives, and related technical aspects, that align with overall business goals and omnichannel strategies to extend capabilities for upcoming launches or scale MDE&I capabilities, as needed, to existing medical therapeutic areas.
  • Partner with multiple cross-functional teams to identify opportunities using a curious, continuous improvement mindset to ensure stakeholder alignment in driving program and technical efficiencies primarily for the MDE&I strategic roadmap and secondarily provide ad hoc technical advisement for existing run capabilities or processes.
  • Manage MDE&I strategic roadmap launch timelines, interdependencies, facilitate escalations, measure and track initiatives with demonstrated business and communication acumen, analyze overall launch performance to identify and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate one consolidated MDE&I strategic roadmap launch backlog, ensuring up-to-date and accurate planning and prioritization by soliciting input from SMEs and stakeholders to ensure launches stay on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsibilities:
  • Capability Development: Lead initiatives to extend digital engagement and technical capabilities for upcoming launches and/or scale them across existing therapeutic areas, ensuring precision omnichannel alignment across teams in planning, budgeting, and tactical execution.
  • Strategic Roadmap Management: Oversee, coordinate and manage one centralized MDE&I strategic roadmap, and consolidate all MDE&I project/program backlog prioritization with inputs from SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to execute 'new ways of working' for digital engagement across Medical Strategy, Field Teams, Medical Communications, Medical Information, DD&T, among others.
  • Change Management: Leverage proven change management principles integrated with project management, to understand key stakeholders' personas, segment and map their change impact journey, develop meaningful messaging for inspiring communications, deliver effective training that demonstrates self-efficacy, and implement adoption reinforcement in parallel to launch timing to ensure timely hyper-care transition across projects and teams, including relevant MDE&I SMEs.
  • Program Management: Measure, track, and manage the MDE&I strategic roadmap launch interdependencies, applying a continuous improvement approach to all initiatives. Outline and appropriately document the processes and procedures.
Accountabilities:
  • Execution Tactics: Ensure the successful delivery of digital engagement initiatives and related technical aspects as outlined by the MDE&I strategic roadmap. This requires working collaboratively across US Medical teams and DD&T partners, focusing on process improvement and technical synergies to ensure MDE&I omnichannel launch excellence for US Medical.
  • Process Optimization: Maintain responsibility for MDE&I strategic roadmap management, collaborating to actively seek and drive continuous process improvements, omnichannel launch implementation excellence, and propose ways to leverage industry-leading technical strategies.
  • Escalation Management: Identify and mitigate MDE&I strategic roadmap risks, resolve process and technical issues efficiently, facilitating escalations when necessary.
  • Omnichannel Alignment: Align MDE&I strategic roadmap efforts by integrating with the broader strategies of US Medical processes and DD&T technical aspirations to achieve scientific engagement goals and translate learnings back to all MDE&I project launch, program run owners for their aligned action.
  • Collaboration and Influence: Understand the nuances of different channels and how to optimize content and messaging for each to effectively influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without any direct reports for collaborative process improvement and technical alignment.
  • Technological Integration: Seek, propose and apply innovative technological solutions from external partners to bolster MDE&I capabilities to continuously feed new ideas into the MDE&I strategic roadmap.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years' experience working in digital, technology, or technology marketing planning or technology operations-related functions.
  • Specific industry experience in healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
  • Understanding of omnichannel principles, including channel mapping, content strategy, and customer engagement.
  • Experience working with relevant tools and technologies including cloud-computing and/or data applications (e.g., Aha. Veeva, Adobe, Salesforce, CMS, etc.) and their omnichannel integration; project management software (e.g., Workfront, JIRA; data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Matomo, EDB); omnichannel platform tools, and digital engagement platforms, (e.g., MS Teams)
Preferred:
  • Advanced Degree (e.g., MBA, Accredited Project Management Professional, Certified Change Management).
  • Demonstrated success in a cross-functional environment successfully delivering objectives.
  • Involved in the development, roll-out, or evolution of a data platform for digital
  • 3+ years of digital leadership role experience.
  • 3+ years of program and/or project management experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in pharmaceutical-industry-focused marketing.
  • Deep knowledge of digital analytics and social media.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Maintain minimum standards of education/certification in individual professional discipline.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Periodic travel required (up to 10%).

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$150,500.00 - $236,500.00
