Our grass seed client is not just selling turf - they are cultivating relationships, excellence, and the greenest fields in the game. Our client is looking for a Senior Manager of Turf Seed Sales who knows their Kentucky Bluegrass from their Fescue and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves (or pant legs) to grow business from the ground up - literally.
What You'll Be Doing:
You're not just managing sales - you're leading growth, nurturing partnerships, and keeping our shelves stocked with the best turf seed in the business. You'll work with:
- Golf courses & sports fields
- Retailers & garden centers
- Landscape pros
- Sod farms
Whether it's custom seed quotes, sales calls, or tracking orders like a hawk with a clipboard, you'll be hands-on from quote to delivery.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A turf-savvy brain - preferably with a degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Turf Management, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in turf sales or management (you speak fluent seed)
- Leadership, independence, and the kind of people skills that would make your grandma proud
- Strong communication and tech skills (MS Office, CRM, etc.)
- Willingness to travel - because turf doesn't grow on Zoom calls
You'll Also:
- Train and educate staff and clients (yes, you get to be the turf guru)
- Monitor inventory like a seed-stocking ninja
- Procure quality turfgrass at the right value
- Be present at industry events and stay involved in the green scene

- Budgeting and forecasting chops
