We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Operations to join our team in the Engineering industry. This is a permanent position that involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, scheduling projects, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can manage complex operations and lead a team to success.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the engineering department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
• Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations to ensure the well-being of all employees
• Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with different teams to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and other operational metrics to assess productivity and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with senior management to set operational goals, aligning with the company's strategic objectives
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Coordinate with the HR department to recruit, hire, and train new engineering staff
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently
• Stay current with the latest engineering technology, trends, and techniques to ensure the company remains competitive

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree in Engineering preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role within the engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
• Proficient in project scheduling and management
• Experience with tracking and analyzing KPIs and other operational metrics
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading a team to success
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Must be detail-oriented and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
