Mayvin is currently seeking an energetic and motivated Subject Matter Expert to join our team as the Senior Manager of Human Resources. The applicant will serve as a technical expert and focal point on a wide variety of human resources areas for employees, managers, and executive leadership. The Senior Manager must be an expert in the application of the full lifecycle of human resources processes and highly knowledgeable of labor legislation and compliance Must be a U.S. citizen Must have an active Secret clearance This is a full-time on-site position located in Mayvin's Alexandria, VA corporate office. Preferred SHRM-SCP certified Responsibilities Administers and oversees the administration of human resource programs and a team including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits leave administration, disciplinary actions, disputes and investigations, conflict resolution, performance, and talent management; recognition and employee engagements; occupational health and safety; professional development and curriculum for continued career growth Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies in human resources, talent management, compliance, and employment law Manage training program which includes developing training content, distributing, tracking, and maintaining required training reports A firm understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation Provide expert guidance and management of Service Contract Act (SCA) employees to meet state and local requirements Oversee onboarding functions for new employees to include the completion of new hire orientation, health and welfare plans, including benefit enrollments and changes Negotiates with retirement plan advisors and benefit brokers as well as other vendors to determine best options for Mayvin Other duties, as assigned Qualifications BS/BA in relevant field of study SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Ten (10) years of Human Resources experience supporting a Government contractor Minimum of seven (7) years' experience leading and an HR team Proficiency with various HRIS software Preferred Master's degree Knowledge of Paycom About Us Mayvin offers our employees an innovative culture, excellent benefits and amenities, an inclusive work environment, ongoing career development, and recognition and rewards to honor hard work.
