Job Title: Sr Manager of Finance IT Operations

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Location: Hybrid or In-Person (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA region)

We are embarking on a transformative journey to modernize our enterprise resource planning (ERP), configure-price-quote (CPQ), and billing systems, and we are seeking a visionary IT Leader with a strong finance background to lead these critical initiatives and to provide financial expertise to the IT organization.

Job Purpose: This position will lead IT initiatives to transform financial systems and processes. Strong collaboration with business units outside of IT is required. Job duties also include financial and technical advisement to IT teams to drive best practices while delivering the desired business outcomes. Strategic planning for IT in conjunction with Finance, Sales, Billing, and other business units is required. This position provides management of IT staff in related positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IT transformation and modernization of ERP, CPQ, and billing systems.
  • Provide financial leadership within the IT team to drive robust financial technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Billing, and other departments to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for platform/system migrations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Provide regular communication on project progress and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to project management timelines, budgets, and resources plans.
  • Enhance financial reporting processes to provide timely and accurate financial data to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of new technologies and software solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial IT systems and processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage IT staff who perform financial support functions.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in IT, Finance, or a related field.

• Certifications in relevant areas of expertise such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT leadership roles.
  • Strong background in finance and understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Proven success in leading transformation of ERP, CPQ, billing, and similar financial platforms.
  • Proven project leadership in migrating financial IT systems.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in communicating project progress and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external vendors.
