The role you'll contribute:
The Regional Neurodiagnostic Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of all applicable departments across the region. Provides professional and technical support, including training to team members. Analyzes workloads/workflows and assigns staff to meet demand and improve operational efficiency. Facilitates and tracks all aspects of reporting, including quality assurance, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, financial reports, and other reports as needed. Develops and implements policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with hospital and regulatory agencies. Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with physicians, hospital, and commercial agencies. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Plan and to rules and regulations of applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Meets with customers, partners, and team members to assure service levels are maintained. Participates in the facility performance improvement program. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Manages daily operations to assure effective and efficient provision of quality diagnostic procedures following established protocols
Effectively recruits, interviews, and hires qualified staff. Oversees the training and orientation of new employees, ensuring competency requirements are met within probationary period
Provides ongoing training of existing employees and ensures annual competency requirements are met
Provides regular employee feedback. Documents any variance from standard in employee behavior and takes appropriate disciplinary action when necessary; documents situations involving favorable behavior when appropriate. Performs evaluations, job competencies, and educational assessment 100% on time
Responsible for meeting departmental budgetary goals, key performance, and key quality indicators. Maintains labor within established labor standards. Manages supply inventory and costs. Ensures charges are entered accurately to capture services performed
Plans and manages time appropriately
Plans and gathers information for future capital needs
Assesses equipment functionality, maintains equipment inventory log, maintains equipment repair log, coordinates repair needs, and makes recommendations for replacements, upgrades, and purchase
Demonstrates sensitivity to cost containment measures by conserving hospital supplies, equipment, and human resources
Manages overtime, call time, absenteeism, tardiness, and time and attendance daily. Develops and manages staff schedules. Maintains department personnel files.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field, OR 4-5 years of equivalent experience
One (1) years of experience in a management/leadership role
AND
Four (4) years of clinical experience within Imaging/Neurodiagnostics in a clinical setting
OR
Five years EEG technical and/or Sleep technical experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) OR Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) OR Certification as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (REEGT) through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic & Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET)
