About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, contract Senior Manager, Brand Marketing to lead Ariat's Equestrian and International brand marketing efforts with vision and purpose. This individual will help drive brand strategy, creative development, activation efforts, and lead marketing communication to local regions. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Market Development and Brand Planning. This will be a highly cross-functional role, partnering with marketing channel owners, product, creative, sales and other internal partners to elevate the brand and build brand presence in emerging markets.


We anticipate the contract will have a duration of approximately 9 - 12 months.


You'll Make a Difference By

  • Developing Equestrian seasonal strategy and driving go-to-market plans for new campaigns, including cross-functional meetings, campaign tiering, key styles, and calendaring
  • Overseeing briefs, photo shoot planning, and asset development to ensure alignment with brand and seasonal strategies
  • Advising paid media team on seasonal assets and budget allocations
  • Collaborating on website optimization opportunities, including merchandising, imagery, and product copy
  • Overseeing event activations and branding, and consulting on product merchandising
  • Managing strategy for in-store signage and wholesale marketing support
  • Leading quarterly cross-functional recap meetings and presenting campaign updates
  • Acting as primary marketing point-of-contact for international distributors and subsidiaries, and leading communication from central brand to regions
  • Gaining understanding of regional go-to-market objectives and supporting development of brand launches and seasonal activations
  • Partnering with Brand and Channel teams to optimize regional executions and results (e.g., media, partnerships, email, site, social), and facilitating direct communication as needed
  • Coordinating input into seasonal creative briefs with Brand teams to support regional needs
  • Sharing content with local markets based on seasonal plans, and facilitating collaboration between US-based creative and regional teams on locally developed content
  • Customizing international brand guidelines to meet the specific needs of each region
  • Leading regular meetings with each region's marketing and/or sales team to address needs and identify opportunities
  • Overseeing development of resources and processes to support licensing partners in creating on-brand product and marketing
  • Managing and training one direct report

About You

  • Bringing 5+ years of consumer goods marketing experience
  • Contributing experience on global teams or managing international communications (a plus)
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively across language barriers and international regions
  • Demonstrating strategic thinking with the ability to interpret needs and present thoughtful, adaptive solutions
  • Maintaining a highly driven, team-oriented attitude with a positive and learning-focused mindset
  • Thriving in fast-paced environments, with strong ability to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding media channels, with preferred experience using Google Analytics
  • Bringing experience in the footwear or apparel industry; exposure to equestrian, western, outdoor, or workwear channels is a strong plus

The hourly range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00 per hour.


The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
