Confidential opportunity: Senior Manager, Learning, Engagement and Culture

A San Francisco-based financial institution is seeking a collaborative and strategic senior manager to lead efforts in learning and development, employee engagement, and culture. This role plays a key part in building programs that support employee growth, promote inclusive leadership, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the senior manager will partner across HR and business teams to deliver impactful learning initiatives, evolve onboarding, and drive engagement strategies that align with organizational values and goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement learning and development programs that support employee growth and business objectives
- Support the design and delivery of leadership development experiences, with a focus on emerging and mid-level leaders
- Enhance the onboarding experience to foster early engagement and strong connections
- Coordinate compliance and systems training, particularly for frontline and retail banking operations
- Plan and support initiatives that build connection, purpose, and culture across the organization
- Collaborate with HR and business partners to assess learning needs and recommend solutions
- Track program outcomes, gather feedback, and use data to inform continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- 7 or more years of progressive experience in learning and development, employee engagement, or organizational development, ideally in financial services
- Strong project management skills and experience delivering training at scale
- Comfort working cross-functionally and building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Effective communicator with a data-informed and outcomes-driven approach
- Passion for fostering inclusive, growth-oriented cultures
