Job Description:
Lead SEC reporting and technical accounting initiatives in collaboration with executive leadership. You'll oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual filings, manage compliance with internal controls, and guide a Staff Accountant, all while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead preparation and filing of 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and 11-Ks
Manage relationships with external and internal auditors
Oversee technical accounting areas including goodwill and complex transactions
Stay current with GAAP and SEC changes
Hire, coach, and develop staff; lead team discussions and initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
8+ years of relevant accounting experience
2+ years in a leadership role
CPA or Master's in Accounting preferred
Experience with reporting tools
Ability to work with multiple priorities, deadlines and in a fast paced environment
Work collaboratively or independently, strategic critical thinker
