Position Summary The Senior Manager, Marketing Automation Lead, Orchestration & Marketing Automation is responsible for partnering with the brand teams to support brand strategies and tactics for email campaigns and other digital corporate initiatives. This position is responsible for all aspects of operational support of email campaigns and sales force marketing cloud technology. This position has vendor leadership responsibilities to support planning and execution of email campaigns and other digital initiatives. In addition, the position will require strong collaboration with Information Technology, Business Analytics and Commercial Operations to ensure proper execution and measurement of the marketing campaigns. The role will require strong leadership skills to manage across IT, Marketing Cloud Manage Services and Marketing Agencies to effectively implement omnichannel email campaigns and enhance capabilities.
Job Description Key Job Responsibilities: - Effectively manage the development, launch and measurement of email and digital campaigns across the organization by collaborating with key stakeholders
- Understand the complex Omnichannel Marketing environment and look for opportunities to leverage cloud technology to support enabling an integrated customer experience spanning both online and offline channels to connect the customer with the organization's offerings
- Share best practices across brand teams
- Mapping business capabilities to the platform capabilities and support evolving brand tactics
- Collaborate with IT to identify technology capabilities to support digital marketing capabilities, improve agility and efficiencies.
- Develop and align with Brand Counterparts on key business strategies and tactics that pertain to omnichannel digital campaigns during Brand Planning
- Ensure the adherence to business and compliance rules during the execution of commercial SalesForce Marketing cloud projects
- Ownership of the email campaign project milestones and deadlines
- Improve processes to support stakeholders and project development
- Manage across multiple agencies to ensure the successful execution of our email and digital campaigns
- Vendor and contract management responsibilities in partnership with Otsuka procurement teams
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5 -10 years of pharmaceutical industry and/or marketing operations experience
- Expertise in independently managing large projects with multiple workstreams
- Experience partnering directly with Brand Teams and managing across agencies
- Results-driven with a high sense of urgency and accountability: ability to meet business objectives, deliverables and timely completion of initiatives with a cross-functional team
- High standards for accuracy in written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of the commercial pharmaceutical industry and major functional areas
- Strong managerial, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to function effectively under conditions of uncertainty and ambiguity
- Aptitude to navigate competing demands and skilled at reprioritization
- Ability to effectively utilize project management tools and software
- Up to 10% travel is required based upon business needs
Preferred
- Strategic planning experience within sales and marketing
- Knowledge of working across strategic alliances
- Understanding of Project Management Methodologies including Agile
- Knowledge of SalesForce Marketing Cloud Technology
- Advanced degree in relevant field
- Consulting experience a plus
