Job Description We are currently in search of a
Senior Manager - IT Operations. The Senior Manager - IT Operations will serve as the leader of enterprise applications and infrastructure operations within the global IT organization.
Responsibilities: - Lead a team of IT and business analysts to provide technical administrative support for enterprise applications.
- Lead a team of DBAs and network administrators to ensure continuous system availability.
- Manage service vendors for IT application support and infrastructure-related services.
- Provide technical leadership for both application development and architecture design to the application development and software engineering team.
- Manage service level agreements (SLAs) with internal and external service providers.
- Manage and report critical systems metrics in collaboration with application owners.
- Ensure that necessary IT controls within the business unit are in place and meet compliance and internal control requirements.
- Recommend and implement common systems solutions across all locations and functions, aligning with system standards.
- Assist with audit self-assessments and risk assessments.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in IT operations management.
- Hands-on experience in enterprise applications delivery and support.
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of management experience in IT operations within a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including IT infrastructure, ERP, CRM, custom apps, and SaaS technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure development for large-scale and high-performance applications.
- Experience managing application management services (AMS) agreements and vendor relationships.
- Experience working within a DevOps model.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other relevant IT service management frameworks.
- Experience working in cloud/IaaS/PaaS environments such as OCI or Azure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor a diverse technical team.
- Solid understanding of application lifecycle management, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
