Senior Manager
Location: Melbourne, FL
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

A well-established CPA firm in the Greater Orlando area is seeking a Senior Manager - Audit to play a key role in executing audit engagements and supporting the firm's business needs. This position is ideal for an experienced audit professional with 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or recent relevant experience in audit. While a CPA is preferred, it is not required. The Senior Audit Manager will be hands-on in conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality financial reporting while working closely with clients and internal teams.



Key Responsibilities:

Audit Execution & Compliance

  • Conduct detailed audit procedures, including risk assessments, testing, and financial statement analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and firm standards.

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, audit reports, and related documentation.

  • Support audit planning, fieldwork, and final reporting phases.



Client & Business Support

  • Work closely with clients to gather information, address inquiries, and resolve audit-related issues.

  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support client decision-making.

  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.



Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in audit procedures.

  • Collaborate with audit teams, senior leadership, and other departments to support business goals.

  • Assist in adopting new audit methodologies and technologies to enhance accuracy and productivity.



Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of public accounting experience in audit (CPA firm experience strongly preferred).

  • Certification: CPA is preferred but not required.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in audit software, GAAP, and financial reporting.

  • Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.



Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience.
