A well-established CPA firm in the Greater Orlando area is seeking a Senior Manager - Audit to play a key role in executing audit engagements and supporting the firm's business needs. This position is ideal for an experienced audit professional with 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or recent relevant experience in audit. While a CPA is preferred, it is not required. The Senior Audit Manager will be hands-on in conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality financial reporting while working closely with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:Audit Execution & Compliance -
Conduct detailed audit procedures, including risk assessments, testing, and financial statement analysis.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and firm standards.

Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, audit reports, and related documentation.

Support audit planning, fieldwork, and final reporting phases.
Client & Business Support -
Work closely with clients to gather information, address inquiries, and resolve audit-related issues.

Provide insightful financial analysis to support client decision-making.

Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
Process Improvement & Collaboration -
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in audit procedures.

Collaborate with audit teams, senior leadership, and other departments to support business goals.

Assist in adopting new audit methodologies and technologies to enhance accuracy and productivity.
Qualifications: -
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of public accounting experience in audit (CPA firm experience strongly preferred).

Certification: CPA is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in audit software, GAAP, and financial reporting.
