Job Description

Primary Job Function:

The Senior Manager, Price Analytics will be providing strategic price support above the brands, including but not limited to: tracking and reporting IRA impact for LBE, Plan and LRP cycles, tracking and reporting Medicaid dynamics through various sources, helping with multiple at hoc requests as needed, and supporting the finance teams for all Gross-to-Net (GTN) sales planning and reporting. The position will require communication to Senior Leadership, cooperation with MABI, Government Affairs, and other stakeholders in Price Forecasting organization.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Help develop and implement IRA tracking models to support Plan, LBE and LRP.
  2. Analyze monthly Medicaid trends and communicate to stakeholders.
  3. Assist in analyzing new legislature involving pricing concessions.
  4. Work closely with Market Analytics & Business Insights team and Government Affairs team on analyzing the data pertaining to IRA/Medicaid.
  5. Conduct price scenario analysis for various planning cycles.
  6. Assist in ad hoc analysis as requested on various pricing initiatives.
  7. Provide ad hoc support as needed for any systems related projects and various outside requests.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

This is an individual contributor position and requires a high level of individual accountability, cross-functional communication, and partnering with other teams and functional groups.


Position Accountability/Scope:

The newly created role is responsible for providing financial analysis to Pricing Leadership in development of the Plans, LRPs and LBEs. This position reports to the Associate Director, Price Analytics. The person is expected to operate independently to accomplish the goals and responsibilities of the position; however constant alignment is critical due to the nature of the role. In addition, the Sr. Manager has a high degree of freedom to independently set priorities so that both planned and unplanned departmental objectives are achieved. This position supports and communicates with all levels of operating and financial management on an on-going basis.


Qualifications

Skills/Experience Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

6-8 years of progressive Accounting/Finance.

The candidate must also possess the following skill sets:

The ability to interact with and support senior level management and to partner effectively and independently in a matrix organization.

Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, planning and decision-making skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a positive attitude.

Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical and content strategy skills. BPC knowledge is a plus.

Strong systems knowledge across a wide range of technology.

The ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities and shifting priorities under tight timeframes.

A highly motivated self-starter who can translate broad directions into high quality analytical output.

Open to new ideas, creative and utilizes value-added principles in approach.


Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer experience in pricing, forecasting, or FP&A.


Education Requirements:

BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
