Position Summary Join Our Dynamic Team as a Business Partnerships and Data Science Expert and Leader.

o Recommend senior leadership and provide scientific insights on challenges and subsequent solutions to the issues.

o Identify and focus key areas of businesses and provide process flow map on how to achieve them

o Prepare first draft of executive presentations to communicate strategic recommendations to management based on research and data analysis.

o Review the findings based on the feedback received from partners and provide a insights based on the audience

o Identifying manual intervention reasons and reducing them in collaboration with other partners

o Identifying avenues for cost reduction and driving programs to realize the savings

†People Development:

o Coach team members on the strategic initiatives and provide pathways to achieve the overall business goals

o Conduct performance reviews in a timely manner by articulating actionable insights and be an ally for career development.

†Data Collection and Analysis:

o Expert in optimization techniques such as: MILP, LP, Simulation techniques in operations research.

o Hands-on knowledge in implementing data science applications across the network with proven results.

o Apply a range of science techniques and tools combined with subject matter expertise to solve difficult business problems and cases in which the solution approach is unclear.

o

o In depth understanding of building data pipelines, data lakes etc in addition to being knowledgeable in SQL, Python and Tableau

o Address business problems by understanding the data sources location, integrate the data, perform subsequent analysis using SQL, Python and subsequently visualize the findings on a Tableau dashboard.

o Develop processes for the team so they can monitor and flag any outliers that the data represents.

o Conduct exploratory analysis and inform team and counterparts of the findings.

†Model Development:

o Build and manage parts of algorithmic products/models and ensure segment aligns with overall product goals after verification with the existing tools.

o Use the existing Walmart tools to verify the findings and run the simulations to test the thesis.

o Formulate technical problems and solutions for data-related challenges.

o Develop and implement algorithms for data analysis and modeling.

†Proof of Concept and Testing:

o Lead the pilot program across network. Understand the gaps and provide solution for implementations across network

o Partner with stakeholders such as Business, Software Engineering, Data Science and Operation teams

o Generate new ideas as an output of research, apply knowledge to come up with new information, and contribute to proof-of-concepts for projects.

†Data Quality Management:

o Plan and lead efforts to ensure data quality and integrity.

o Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.

o Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify and address issues.

†Technical Skillsets:

o Python/R

o SQL

o GCP

o Tableau

o Excel

Your expertise in data science, data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization will play a crucial role in improving operational efficiency and identifying opportunities.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
