The Ecommerce Merchandising Manager is responsible for managing site merchandising across multiple brands, ensuring a seamless and cohesive user experience from entry point to checkout. This role owns the curation and personalization of the on-site experience in alignment with go-to-market calendars and will support day-to-day site operations on Shopify Plus.
This is a hybrid position with a three-day in-office requirement (Carlsbad, CA) and requires strong collaboration across Ecommerce, Creative, Planning, and Merchandising teams.
Key Responsibilities
Site Merchandising
- Manage the product catalog and seasonal launches
- Ensure alignment between site experience and traffic channels including paid media, email, SMS, and organic social
- Optimize conversion through merchandising strategies tailored to collection-specific behavior
- Own and maintain A/B testing roadmap for product sorting and creative optimization
- Personalize the user journey to improve engagement metrics such as add-to-cart rate, conversion rate, and LTV
- Optimize on-site search and product recommendations
- Develop creative briefs for homepage, landing pages, navigation, and new onsite experiences
- Define and execute the annual site merchandising roadmap
- Stay informed on ecommerce trends and innovations to enhance user experience
Operations
- Build compelling landing pages to support brand storytelling in collaboration with creative teams
- Update site navigation seasonally based on assortment priorities and category expansion
- Partner with UX and Ecommerce leadership to propose and implement new functionality
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new releases, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Support semi-annual promotional events and seasonal sales
Analytics & Performance
- Produce weekly KPI reports and share insights with channel owners
- Analyze performance of product pages and landing pages to inform testing and optimization
- Lead monthly performance reviews across creative and digital marketing channels

Requirements
- 3+ years in ecommerce, digital, or site merchandising roles
- Proven experience with A/B testing and performance-based optimization
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus is preferred
- Experience with personalization tools and strategies is a plus
