The Opportunity

The Sr. Manager, Data & Measurement will report to the Director of Ads Business Development and will own a set of 3rd party data and measurement partnerships to establish a strategy and framework for the partnership and manage all new paperwork tied to that vendor. This individual will also be responsible for ideating new, innovative partnerships for Samsung Ads. The focus will mainly be on the Data and Measurement domains, but the Senior Manager will also have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of the Ads business.


For the partnerships that this individual owns, they will manage the day-to-day with the 3rd party partner to support business teams within Samsung Ads. They will maintain operational excellence with each partner and monitor opportunities to expand the scope of each partnership to best meet the needs of the business. Critical components of this role include liaising between internal sales/client management teams, product and engineering, and external partners and working closely with our legal and privacy teams.


The candidate must be organized, detailed oriented, flexible, transparent, and possess the ability to establish priorities with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should understand the AdTech data ecosystem - including familiarity with major vendors in the space. This candidate will be self-motivated and solutions-focused with an ability to unravel internal complexity and navigate a large organization. The position will also require excellent project management and cross-functional communication skills. Responsibilities:

  • Support and execute Ads Business Development deal frameworks across the Samsung Ads ecosystem.
  • Negotiate and execute legal agreements with key partners including, but not limited to MSAs, amendments, and renewals, while advocating for and negotiating new deal terms that might arise with partners.
  • Building and leading RFIs to source new partnerships to support business needs.
  • Ideate, source, and drive net-new partnerships to support the Ads ecosystem.
  • Create and maintain cross-functional standard operating procedures for partners - set performance KPIs, monitoring usage, expenditure, and operational integrity of 3rd party partnerships.
  • Assist in the project management of complex deals by working with team members to create deal charts and supporting practices.
  • Maintain and communicate project milestones effectively and anticipate potential risks or challenges, identifying issues and developing contingency plans.
  • Coordinate with supporting functions across the organization, including finance, legal, and other business units, as necessary to help drive team goals.
  • Support with troubleshooting partner integrations.
  • Participate in partner QBRs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS required
  • 7+ years of relevant experience working in AdTech; experience working in a partnership / contracting capacity.
  • Knowledge of and experience with data and measurement partners and AdTech is required.
  • Support and execute Ads Business Development deal frameworks including redlining and negotiating agreements.
  • Experience supporting sophisticated, high-impact projects with cross-functional teams in a variety of regions/time zones.
  • Strong problem-solving skills such as prioritization, critical thinking, and hypothesis development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Diagnostic mindset, with the ability to process data and come to a qualified business conclusion.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hybrid - 3 days in office required

NEW YORK ONLY

Salary Range Pay Transparency: Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York City, NY is expected to be between $155,000 and $210,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
