Required Skills:
  • The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in mainframe storage administration, with a strong background in HSM migration and backup, Vantage Storage software, Hitachi disk replication, virtual tape, and RMM (Removable Media Manager).
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of our mainframe storage systems, providing expert-level support for storage infrastructure, and driving key storage initiatives.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in mainframe storage administration.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with HSM migration and backup.
  • Extensive experience with SMS Managed Disk and Tape. - Proficient in Vantage Storage software.
  • Strong experience with Hitachi disk replication.
  • In-depth knowledge of virtual tape systems.
  • Experience with RMM (Removable Media Manager).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in mainframe storage administration and related technologies are a plus.
