GCyber is seeking a Senior Macintosh Systems Engineer, to support a high profile DISA customer. The Senior Macintosh Systems Engineer will be part of a team tasked with the design, implementation, operation, and security of the MAC environment. As the Senior Macintosh Systems Engineer, you will: Lead macOS image and workflow development, ensuring compatibility with new macOS releases and enterprise Windows integration. Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot the on-prem MDM solution (Jamf Pro), including macOS updates, application packaging, and endpoint security automation. Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, AppleScript, and other macOS-native languages to streamline system administration and operations. Provide engineering support for complex macOS and software issues, collaborating with vendors on escalations and implementing security policies (e.g., DISA STIG). Create and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, while supporting COTS applications and compliance with federal IT security policies. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Active DoD Secret Clearance. DoD 8570 IAT Level II (i.e., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC) Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of professional IT experience with at least 4 years in Apple/macOS administration/engineering: additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Able to obtain the following Jamf Certifications: Jamf100 - Jamf Certified Associate Jamf200 - Jamf Certified Tech Jamf300 - Jamf Certified Administrator Strong scripting experience using Bash and AppleScript. Experience with the following Apple technologies: Apple Configurator, Apple Business Manager, and FileVault.
