Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Top Secret with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Machine Learning / AI Engineer to support a long-term federal program under IBM for a high-visibility opportunity with the US Army out of Fort Belvoir, VA. The position involves working directly with Army stakeholders to develop and deliver cloud-based cybersecurity solutions using AWS services. Responsibilities of the Senior ML/AI Engineer: Collaborate with Army stakeholders to understand cybersecurity requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Work with Army Security teams to ensure technologies are secure, scalable, and mission-ready.
Liaise with government software vendors and asset creators to integrate point solutions into broader DCO capabilities.
Deliver software capabilities that enhance the Army's cyber defense infrastructure.
Support the development of cloud-based architectures and machine learning applications.
Contribute to the innovation and modernization of national defense technologies. Qualifications of the Senior ML/AI Engineer: Tool-agnostic expertise in Machine Learning and AI
Experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS
Cybersecurity experience
Ability to build and deliver new capabilities from the ground up
Comfortable with ambiguity and high expectations
Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
Active Top Secret Clearance Required Compensation for the Senior ML/AI Engineer : Salary: $175,000-$185,000/year (depending on experience)
