The Role:

In this key position as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will collaborate with a talented interdisciplinary team to design and scale advanced systems that support the research and development of revolutionary therapies. Your main focus will be on optimizing infrastructure and systems to enable scalable training and deployment of machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain distributed systems for the efficient training and inference of machine learning models at scale (e.g., vision transformers).
  • Manage GPU clusters and cloud infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability for demanding workloads.
  • Work alongside ML and Engineering teams to develop an ML Platform that enhances both research iteration and scaling capabilities.
  • Optimize model architectures, data loaders, and training pipelines for superior performance and efficiency.
  • Create systems for comprehensive analysis of model outputs and establish scalable deployment solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in building and scaling distributed systems specifically for ML training and inference.
  • Expertise in managing large GPU clusters.
  • Proficient in AWS cloud services.
  • Strong proficiency in PyTorch.
  • Experience with various ML frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms, distributed systems, and scalable infrastructure.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
Nice-to-have's:
  • Familiarity with Ray Framework
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Sagemaker
  • Expertise in optimizing data loaders
  • Experience with multiple data modalities (e.g., images, sequences)
  • Creation of custom data pipelines
  • Knowledge of deploying production software
