Take on an important role as a Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse Supervisor with our Venice Family Clinic's Robert Levine Family Health Center and make a difference in the community.

The Sr. LVN Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing guidance and support to the medical assistant staff.
  • Performing a variety of patient care activities, such as administering injections and medications, monitoring patients' blood pressure, changing bandages, inserting catheters, and assisting with bathing or dressing.
  • Helping with any problem solving needs that arise for clinic operations.
  • Performing supervisory duties such as time sheet corrections/approvals, scheduling and approving time off, performance evaluations, and interviewing/training staff.
  • This role will also perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned.

Salary Range: $36.49 - $76.05 Hourly

Qualifications
Required:
  • Two years of work experience in providing primary care.
  • California State Licensed Vocational Nurse (IV certified).
  • Phlebotomy certification and BCLS/BLS card.
  • Skill in performing phlebotomy and skill in administering injections and immunizations.
  • Effective communication skills, interpersonal skills, and skill at working independently and prioritizing assignments.
  • Ability to pass a Basic Health Worker course and obtain certificate.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on assignments, and work in a busy setting with conflicting demands.
  • Knowledge of health education, public health, and medical terminology.
Supervisory experience and effective oral and written bilingual English/Spanish communication skills is preferred.
