Responsibilities Sabre Systems is seeking a Sr Logistician to support the Advanced Sensor Technologies (AST) Program at Naval Air Station Patuxent River (Pax River), MD. In this role, you will manage inventory, procurement, and asset readiness while ensuring operational efficiency and program compliance. Working closely with program leadership, military personnel, and contractor stakeholders, you will play a key role in coordinating logistics operations that enable mission success. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in logistics management and a commitment to supporting cutting-edge technology program. Responsibilities: Manage items of Government property using systems like GOLDesp and contractor databases, ensuring accurate reporting in line with DoDI 5000.64. Forecast budget needs and asset deployment using tools like OPUS10. Maintain inventory of test equipment items Support facility construction (OCONUS) under ICD-705, ensuring compliance with security and contractor requirements. Coordinate directly with P3 Class Desk (PMA-290), CPRG, CNAF, Naval Depots, and aircraft modification teams. Act as a program representative at contractor production facilities and support contract negotiations. Provide key input for procurement and repair contracts, SOW preparation, and validation of Acquisition Strategy Reports. Manage Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Information (GFI) across multiple AST contracts, ensuring compliance with FARS, DFARS, and DoD guidelines. Oversee joint maintenance and inventory of NAVY shared warehouse and a secure access facility. Qualifications Job Requirements: 10+ years of experience with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) specific to Naval Aviation. Working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP/4790) and its application in fleet operations. Extensive experience with Government Furnished Property (GFP), including Government Furnished Information (GFI) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) management. Expertise in Individual Material Readiness Listing (IMRL) programs and Support Equipment (SE) requirements, particularly for P-8A aircraft operations. Proven ability to manage Asset Management and Spares Tracking processes. Experience managing Contracting Officer (ACO/PCO) requests, including requisition, delivery, and tracking of GFI. Proficiency in logistics tools for asset and inventory management. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to create detailed reports, analyze data, and communicate effectively.
