Senior Logistician

Overview SENIOR LOGISTICIAN (GXP 0): Bowhead seeks a Senior Logistician to join our GXP Platform and Launch Contract at NSWC Crane, IN. The logistician will work remotely and must be a self-starter, able to excel independently, and in a team environment, with little or no supervision. Responsibilities Essential functions will include: Process NAVSEA Columbia Test, Measurement and Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE) data sheets including procurement for exchange pool Provide TMDE datat sheet/database training and support (including in person onsite coordination and training) as required Manage and procure NAVSEA grooming pool equipment as required. Work with PMS397 Fleet Installation Team (FIT) representatives in planning TMDE delivery in support of shipset on loads. Conduct quarterly (more often as required) status meetings with FIT and other stakeholders to review TMDE datasheets, grooming pool efforts, shipset quantities, delivery schedules, etc Other duties as required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with ten (10) years of experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education. Must be skilled in reading and comprehending technical documentation/maintenance procedures (specifically Navy Preventative Maintenance System) Must be knowledgeable about portable test equipment and Navy Metrology/Calibration policy and processes to establish TMDE requirements. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.
