Job Description

Modernize global infrastructure with cutting-edge cloud technologies and automation.

As a senior Linux system engineer at Gallup, you will use the latest technologies to modernize infrastructure, including migrating workloads to the cloud by coding, testing, implementing and supporting infrastructure automation services on Gallup's global platform. You will collaborate with a progressive technology team - storage cloud engineers, network engineers, Linux administrators and cloud administrators - to set up integration and support Linux environments with the end user always in mind.

What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or a related field or equivalent experience required
  • At least five years of experience with Linux server administration required
  • At least five years of experience with networking or infrastructure required
  • Professional experience working with some of the following technologies required: Python, Jenkins, Ansible, Tomcat, Apache/Nginx, Java, Terraform, Red Hat Satellite, Docker
  • Other desired skills include bash scripting, certificate management, container builds and management, Git, Weblogic, PostgreSQL, and working AWS experience

Gallup offers a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance options; a 401(k) retirement and savings plan with company matching; and an employee stock ownership program. This position is open in different U.S. locations. Applicants who live near a Gallup office will be expected to work in the office three days per week upon being hired. We also offer an estimated annual salary range of $150,000-$200,000 for this role. Salaries are based on a variety of factors, including an individual's education, experience and skills.
