Job Title: Senior Lease Accountant (Interim or Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Tempe, AZ (hybrid - 4 days onsite)
Pay Rate: $45 - $60/hour, depending on experience
Overview:
Vaco is partnering with a well-established organization seeking a
Senior Lease Accountant to join their team on an interim or contract-to-hire basis. This role will focus on lease accounting compliance, lease administration support, and oversight of a lease administrator.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the timely and accurate processing and reconciliation of rent payments and associated liabilities.
- Review, approve, and ensure accurate entry of new leases into the lease management system in a timely manner.
- Manage the monthly lease accounting process, including reconciliations and journal entries, to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting timelines.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3-5 years+ related experience
- Experience with lease administration systems (e.g., CoStar, Visual Lease, or similar) and ERP platforms
- Proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
