About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives within our Commercial Card Business. This role is pivotal to our mission of modernizing and transforming our commercial card platform, driving growth, and delivering exceptional value to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management and go-to-market (GTM) execution.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives to modernize the commercial card platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Sales, Operations) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop detailed project plans, establish clear timelines, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for new commercial card products and capabilities, including virtual cards, centralized underwriting, and advanced data analytics.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to define target segments, positioning, and value propositions.
  • Coordinate internal training sessions for relationship managers (RMs), sales teams, and partners to ensure they are equipped to sell and support the modernized products.
  • Track GTM performance metrics (client adoption, usage, feedback) and refine strategies as needed.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for all program initiatives related to the commercial card transformation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on program status, key achievements, and risks.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, or marketing with a focus on GTM execution (preferably in financial services or payments).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, high-impact initiatives simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic and data-driven mindset.
  • Deep understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or technology-driven environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of B2B payment products, including commercial cards and virtual cards.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or similar certification preferred.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities
Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work on-site at approved location at least three days a week
San Francisco, CA Pay Range: $138,500.00 - $287,600.00 annually

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
