Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Conveyancing Solicitor to build and lead a new Residential Conveyancing Team in Swindon, complementing the firm's successful conveyancing teams in Newbury, Thatcham, and Maidenhead. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years' PQE and a strong track record in managing complex residential property matters, alongside proven business development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Drive the growth of the firm's residential property practice in the Swindon area through business development and networking.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and tailored legal advice throughout the conveyancing process.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Support, mentor, and supervise junior team members as the department grows.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Minimum 8 years' PQE in residential conveyancing, handling a broad range of transactions.
- Strong business development skills with the ability to generate new business and develop a pipeline of work.
- A self-starter with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
