A leading multidisciplinary practice is expanding their creative landscape team in Leeds and is on the lookout for a passionate, experienced, and Chartered Senior Landscape Architect to help deliver an inspiring and diverse portfolio of projects.

With at least 5 years of UK-based experience, you'll bring design flair, strategic thinking, and project leadership to the table. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's shaping spaces with purpose - from transformative masterplans and vibrant public realms, to community-first initiatives, education, healthcare, residential, sports and leisure environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Leading a range of inspiring and complex projects across the UK
  2. Acting as the main client and design team contact
  3. Managing project timelines, resources, contracts, and commercial responsibilities
  4. Delegating and mentoring - supporting junior team members and guiding delivery
  5. Creating compelling designs with a problem-solving mindset from concept through to on-site execution
  6. Working collaboratively with professionals across environmental, planning, engineering, and sustainability disciplines


Desired Skills and Qualities:

  1. Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) - minimum of 2 years post-chartership
  2. Strong project leadership and project management skills
  3. Experience with commercials, contracts, resourcing, and LVIA work
  4. Proficient in delegating, mentoring, and building a strong team culture
  5. Creative thinker with strong technical skills across the entire design process
  6. Excellent graphic and hand-drawing skills
  7. Fully proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; Revit desirable but not essential
  8. A strong grasp of SuDS, Biodiversity Net Gain, and masterplanning
  9. Confident writer and presenter with a high standard of written English
  10. Proactive, organised, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment
  11. A keen design eye and the ability to develop ideas from concept through detailed spec
  12. Full UK driving licence required
