What you are really good at:
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development
- Deep expertise with Java (preferably JDK 17 or higher) and the Spring Boot ecosystem
- Proven track record of leading or contributing to framework upgrades and modernization initiatives
- Strong background in secure software development practices
- Experience working with Kafka and familiarity with Axon Framework or similar CQRS/event sourcing libraries
- Passion for automation and reducing manual toil via scripting, tooling, and DevOps practices
- Hands-on experience with observability tools and techniques
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skillss
What makes you stand out from the pack:
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of Terraform, Helm, or GitOps practices
- Exposure to threat modeling or security tooling (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, Fortify)
