Our challenge We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in both back-end and front-end technologies, particularly in Java and React. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, architecture, and design, with a passion for building scalable web applications.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Minneapolis, MN is $120k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, providing timely solutions to technical issues.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Work with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to improve our software solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 14+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Extensive experience with front-end technologies, particularly React.js and Redux.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred, but not required: - Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
