Responsibilities: We are seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is mandatory. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.
Qualifications:
- AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Implement standard methodologies for software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing software systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the companys software solutions remain competitive.
- Contribute to the overall success of the project by delivering high-quality software on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including security and data protection standards.
- Support the Property & Casualty Insurance domain by developing software solutions that meet industry-specific requirements.
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 - $131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
