Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Java Developer for a large Financial Company based on the East Coast. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing microservices architectures while ensuring seamless API orchestration.
The Senior Java Developer will need to work in Merrimack, NH or Jersey City, NJ. This is a long term contract opportunity and is not able to provide sponsorship.Responsibilities for the Senior Java Developer: - Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java-based applications.
- Utilize Java 17+ to create efficient and scalable solutions.
- Implement, maintain, and optimize Spring Boot microservices.
- Build and manage cloud-native applications using AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support microservices architecture.
- Implement API orchestration to efficiently manage multiple APIs.
Requirements for the Senior Java Developer: - 8+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or better.
- Expertise in Spring and Spring Boot for microservice development.
- Deep understanding of Cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with API orchestration and managing multiple APIs.
Compensation for the Senior Java Developer: - $140,000 - $160,000
