Description

Key Concepts is looking for a candidate that can support our IT training program. The successful candidate should possesses a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Must be Goal and Deadline-Oriented, have Multi-tasking, Scheduling, Process driven, Professional, Attention to Detail, Organization skills. Must be Dependable/Reliable and Adaptable/Flexible.

This position requires the skills of training, coordination, and technical support.

Position Requirements

Main Duties
  • Assist with the NIH Training Program on behalf of NIH CIT.
    • Create, update and maintain training material for use during on-site, local off-site locations, and virtually.
      • For above core software: Test and create training materials as requested. Maintain 508 compliance.
      • For standard software: Test, create, update and maintain training materials as needed. Maintain 508 compliance.
      • For standard hardware: Test, create, update and maintain training materials as needed. Maintain 508 compliance.
    • Training Materials include but are not limited to:
      • PowerPoint Presentations, 508 compliant handouts, and 508 compliant videos.
  • Present and moderate training sessions onsite and virtually as tasked.
  • Track and report training scheduled and/or completed.
  • Provide Executive Leadership and Secretary's office group training as requested.
  • Provide support in planning and creating In-House Documentation of processes, as needed.
  • Weekly and Monthly Reporting and Data Analytics on Training as tasked.
  • Ability to stay up to date on new and existing features for standard software at NIH.
  • Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
  • Observe and evaluate results of training programs
  • Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
  • Produce training schedules and classroom agenda
  • Determine course content according to objectives
  • Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)
  • Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
  • Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed
Required Skills
  • Must have great communication and user training skills
  • Proven experience as technical trainer
  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
  • Experience in designing technical course content
  • Ability to address training needs with complete courses
  • Working knowledge in MS Office (especially PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Preferred Working Knowledge Applications/Skills:
  • NIH experience
  • ITIL Foundations V4 training
  • Degree in a relevant technical field
  • Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a strong asset
