Overview

We're looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to help drive technology initiatives that make a real difference in the delivery of hospice care. In this role, you'll lead cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and compliance with industry standards.

A key initial focus of this position will be serving as the project manager for the implementation of our new electronic medical record (EMR) system. You'll play a central role in planning and deploying the system-working closely with clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition and successful adoption.

You'll work closely with teams across departments to turn complex challenges into coordinated, actionable plans-bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to high-impact technology efforts. Success in this position means delivering projects on time and on budget, while fostering strong communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the successful execution of a strategic IT project portfolio that supports key organizational objectives
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional technology projects from concept through implementation
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to keep initiatives on track
  • Deliver clear and timely project updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency
  • Create and maintain thorough, well-organized documentation to support project tracking and accountability
  • Mentor and guide team members in project management best practices to elevate team performance
  • Facilitate collaborative project meetings that bring together diverse teams across multiple locations
  • Proactively align resources and prioritize critical tasks to meet deadlines and project milestones
  • Own delivery of measurable results for IT initiatives that improve operational efficiency and service quality
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience leading IT projects, preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment
  • Demonstrated and proven track record of delivering IT projects on scope, schedule and budget
  • Experience administering or implementing an Electronic Medical Records System (EMR)
  • Project Management certification preferred (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum projects a plus
  • Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet preferred
  • Understanding of secure IT infrastructure in healthcare or HIPAA-regulated settings preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to influence outcomes and drive results through both direct leadership and cross-functional collaboration
$80,000 - $120,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
