New Relic is looking for an Senior IT Program Manager to join our outstanding Finance Technology organization. IT Program managers play a vital role at New Relic supporting our technical teams day to day and leading the planning, execution, and delivery of cross functional programs in support of our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong Program Manager with domain specific experience in finance SaaS applications and business processes.

What you'll do
  • Support the Finance Technology and QA teams by performing initiative intake, gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
  • Perform scrum master duties for the Finance Technology team
  • Facilitate standard meetings - standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, roadmap reviews with stakeholders
  • Initial triage and fine tuning prioritization for planning including backlog grooming
  • Coordinating testing across teams and orgs
  • Manage release planning and comms about code freezes
  • Drive technical projects including managing complex project schedules, removing roadblocks, and keeping processes running smoothly.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships with business and technical stakeholders.
  • You will craft and communicate status reports to stakeholders that provide the context, narrative, data, clarity, and calls to action that serve as the pulse of rapidly evolving programs.
This role requires
  • 8 years minimum experience related to (e.g., SaaS systems, engineering/development)
  • 4 years experience in technical program management or product management
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of Order to Cash, Commissions process, Procure to Pay
  • Requires strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with remote & distributed teams.
Bonus points if you have
  • Agile/Scrum master certification
  • Can anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Can drive programs with a significant amount of ambiguity and facilitate definition and clarity.
  • Inquisitive with technical and business skills to understand and challenge while working harmoniously with the business and technology owners.

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
