Overview: A well-established community bank is seeking a dynamic Senior IT Manager to lead the digital transformation of its operations-from paper-based processes to full automation. This is a strategic, hands-on role for a forward-thinking IT leader who thrives in a community-focused environment and is passionate about operational efficiency, security, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current technology infrastructure and identify opportunities for automation and system upgrades
- Lead end-to-end planning, implementation, and support of core banking systems, digital tools, and workflow automation
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute the bank's technology roadmap
- Oversee IT security, disaster recovery, vendor management, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage internal IT staff and third-party providers to ensure seamless delivery of tech solutions
- Champion change management and staff training to ensure smooth adoption of new systems
Qualifications:
- 7 years of IT experience, preferably in banking or financial services
- Strong track record of implementing digital solutions and operational automation
- Deep understanding of banking systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive transformation and gain buy-in from stakeholders
- Experience working in a community banking environment is a plus
