Overview

Iovance is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Information Technology (IT) Executive Support Specialist to provide world-class support to our executive team. This person will ensure that executives have easy-to-use, reliable, and secure IT solutions that enable them to be highly productive. To be successful, this person must be self-directed, motivated, organized, highly responsive and have very strong technical, listening, oral, and written communication skills. In addition to providing dedicated support to executives, this person will also have responsibility for mentoring others on how to provide outstanding end user services to the entire company.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Executive Technical Support: Provide advanced technical assistance, troubleshooting, and first call resolution for executives, including resolving hardware, software, networking, Wi-fi, internet, and application-related issues for both office and remote locations (i.e., home offices, hotels).
  • Executive Support and Response: Offer dedicated world-class support for executives, ensuring a seamless technology experience and rapid resolution of any IT-related challenges; provide after-hours and weekend support when needed.
  • Executive Productivity: Proactively understand executive needs and provide training, tips, and guidance to enable executives to be highly productive for each of their unique situations. Evaluate and recommend technologies that would increase the effectiveness of the executives and the company.
  • Mentoring/Escalation: Work closely with the IT team to resolve complex issues and contribute to the development of knowledge base articles, best practices, and training materials that can be used for executives and leveraged for the entire company.
  • System & Software Updates: Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to ensure that all executive devices and systems are up to date with the latest software and security patches.

Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT helpdesk support, and > 2 years of experience in an IT executive support position or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge and strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft O365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Adobe PDF products, networking, Wi-Fi, internet, managing corporate laptops and mobile devices.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-level support for senior leaders, with strong interpersonal skills and a solution orientated "can-do" attitude
  • Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across laptop hardware, desktop software, applications, and network systems.
  • Adept managing workload, managing tickets, providing timely updates to end users, and following through rapidly on issues and requests.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or other related certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Physical Demands and Activities Required
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time.

  • Must have visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer screen, and extensive reading.

  • Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information.

Work Environment

This job works in a professional office environment and a manufacturing lab setting. Potential exposure to latex, bleach, loud noise, lab equipment hazards, strong odors, and chemical/biochemical is possible. Requires operating standard office equipment and keyboards.
