What you'll do as a Senior IT Auditor
- Obtain an understanding of the company's IT processes
- Prepare audit planning documentation for all assigned audits including preparing the RCM and other relevant documentation
- Perform IT risk analysis, prepare process maps and flowcharts, and develop test plans
- Conduct IT audits in accordance with the audit plan with the primary objective of evaluating the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the systems of internal control and the quality of ongoing operations
- Write IT audit reports to management to communicate the results of audits, reviews, or investigations and to describe significant findings and make recommendations to strengthen internal controls or improve operating procedures
- Execute annual ITGC SOX audit plan
- Oversee and assist with execution of ITGC SOX audits according to the audit plan
- Evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the system of IT internal controls
- Perform special reviews or investigations, as needed
- Perform risk analysis, prepare process maps and flowcharts, and develop IT test plans
What you'll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
- Minimum 5 years of audit experience with an accounting firm or a publicly traded company
- Demonstrated understanding of SOX compliance
- Demonstrated understanding of the COSO framework
