Job Description - Senior IT Analyst

a) Information technology services in facilities planning, operations and support.

b) Storage systems analysis, design/test, and administration.
c) Server system analysis, design/test, and administration.
d) Network engineering and administration.
e) User support planning, operations and administration.
f) Support of databases, website/web application services.
g) Supporting pre and final production readiness activities.
h) Related IT systems functions.
i) Cloud engineering, design/test and administration.

Enterprise Operations Center Support Responsibilities:

a.Providing assigned shift coverage for monitoring enterprise systems and services

b. Developing and responding to system alerts and notifications, coordinating response and recovery
activities, and developing after action reports;
c. Communicating, coordinating and facilitating ad hoc conference calls among service and system
Subject Matter Experts to resolve service interruption affecting AIT services;
d. Facilitating or chairing technical meetings, taking detailed notes and writing after action reports;
e. Reviewing and responding to events reported by customers or monitoring tools;
f. Resolving all but unique technical problems without the intervention of management or more
experienced technical specialist(s);
g. Identifying and informing management of problems requiring their attention and developing and
recommending techniques to address problem situations;
h. Meeting with customers to identify requirements and appropriate levels of service;
i. Developing and following standard operating procedures, as needed;
j. Completing ad hoc tasks and small projects as assigned, with minimal Government supervision; and
k. Utilizing applicable tools and technology, including but not limited to Solarwinds, ServiceNow,
Splunk, Windows, Linux, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and Zoom. Note: The tools used by the Government
to perform these duties are subject to change and the Contractor is responsible for staffing and training
appropriately to be able to leverage different tools as determined by the Government.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT Management, other IT degrees are required. Engineering, math, and science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and job knowledge required.
  • HIGHLY PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS: Certified: Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect
    Associate; Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals and SolarWinds Certified Professional. Proficiency
    with Python, PERL and PowerShell Development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively consult with stakeholders on a diverse range of IT activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and handle tight deadlines.
  • Highly responsive to requested needs.
  • Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion.
Additional information:
  • Professional certification in the area of information technology expertise is desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of Tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must Possess excellent communications skills.
  • Candidate must be able to pass security background check.
