Position Summary

Kemper, a publicly traded, multi-billion-dollar insurance and financial services company, seeks a talented and motivated professional to join its Financial Operations team. This role involves managing the planning and execution of integration initiatives, focusing on process efficiency, automation, and speed-to-delivery. The position acts as a central coordinator within the Financial Services team to ensure alignment with corporate strategy while driving effective integration processes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Lead efforts to integrate and automate processes by understanding source data and end-user needs, then designing and overseeing solutions.
  2. Keep management informed of activities and issues, referring matters beyond authority to management.
  3. Manage change management efforts to guide teams through transitions, address challenges proactively, and minimize disruptions.
  4. Identify risks and roadblocks early, implement mitigation strategies, and align operational and cultural goals.
  5. Resolve questions from internal and external sources, including managers, auditors, customers, and regulators.
  6. Perform other duties or projects as required.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.

Required Job Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Advanced proficiency: Guidewire.
  • Strong analytical skills related to billing processes and insurance billing.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Motivated self-starter and team player.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with management and staff.

The salary range is $86,000 - $143,000, based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and location. The role is eligible for bonuses and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.
