Now Hiring: Virtual Instructor - Personnel Security Adjudication (Part-Time / Casual On-Call) Remote Part-Time / Casual Up to 20 hours/month instruction + prep time Join the NCSC-SSD mission to enhance national security through cutting-edge training. We're looking for a highly experienced and knowledgeable Virtual Instructor to deliver unclassified, half-day courses via Microsoft Teams. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity designed for experts in personnel security adjudication who are passionate about shaping the next generation of security professionals across the Intelligence Community, federal government, and private sector . RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver dynamic, virtual instruction and facilitation for unclassified SSD training programs. Provide four hours of instruction daily for five days each month that a course is in session (every other month). Remain online during entire course sessions to assist with participant questions and support. Support instructional design teams in reviewing, updating, and refining lesson plans to align with current training needs and technical standards. Administer engaging experiential learning experiences, including real-world simulations. Coordinate with Training Administrators for scheduling and classroom management. Continually enhance subject matter expertise to maintain relevance in course delivery. Integrate innovative technologies and instructional techniques to improve course interactivity and effectiveness. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 12 years with a BS/BA Minimum 10 years with a MS/MA Minimum 7 years with a PhD Will consider 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Demonstrated subject matter expertise in personnel security adjudication. Strong virtual teaching and facilitation skills. Previous experience instructing within the Intelligence Community (IC) is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and virtual training platforms. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities. IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: A deep understanding of security clearance processes, standards, and best practices. Experience tailoring instruction for diverse learners across federal, IC, and private sectors. A proactive approach to course updates and continuous learning.
