Job Title: Senior Information Technology Program Manager -5812 Job Location: Huntsville, AL 35898 Job Salary: $160,000-$180,000 Job Summary Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is looking for a Senior IT Program Manager who will provide hands-on leadership for a government contract, overseeing the successful execution of IT tasks while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and customer objectives. This role involves direct engagement with stakeholders, managing program scope, schedule, budget, performance, and driving technical and operational efficiencies. The Senior IT Program Manager will lead and mentor teams, resolve challenges, and implement best practices to optimize performance. This position requires a proactive, solution-oriented leader with a strong background in IT project execution, government contracting, and stakeholder management. Skills / Experience Required Senior IT Program Manager Skills and Experience: Active Secret Clearance 15+ years of experience as Senior IT Program Manager Ensure customer expectations are met, and staff performance aligns with contract requirements Manage urgent and complex support issues, identify root causes, and communicate resolutions to customers Oversee staff activities, create training materials, and manage work schedules Maintain service quality and personnel standards in line with performance and budget requirements Implement a system for handling customer complaints and corrective actions Coordinate service planning and delivery with the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) Provide regular performance updates to the TPOC Attend scheduled project reviews and progress meetings Alert the TPOC to service delays or issues Ensure Enterprise-impacting work follows Change Management procedures and Redstone Arsenal policy Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the Mission Support Desk Monitor and maintain acceptable call wait times per contract standards Submit IT policy improvement recommendations as requested Develop and manage deployment plans with required tools and methods Track and report performance metrics against PRS and QCP standards Oversee deployment of computer hardware in line with TPOC guidance Ensure deployed hardware is fully functional Perform additional duties as assigned Education / Certifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering Bachelor's degree in one of these fields may be substituted with an additional ten years of relevant experience managing IT programs within the federal sector Project Management Professional (PMP) Knowledge of various software platforms including Windows, Microsoft Office, Trellix HBSS/ESS, Horizon VDI, SharePoint, TCP/IP networking, and Microsoft Active Directory Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Flexible Spending Accounts 401(k) PTO Paid Parental leave Tuition reimbursement Paid federal holidays Security Clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen.
