Join the Multi Domain Solutions Division at Leidos as a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer. Responsibilities:
  • Security Design and Implementation: Develop and maintain robust security solutions in a hybrid Azure cloud environment, ensuring alignment with DoD, NIST, and RMF standards.
  • System Hardening: Implement measures to strengthen systems against potential threats, including network devices, servers, and cloud components.
  • Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments, update security policies, and establish security controls to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure adherence to federal and military standards such as FISMA, RMF, and DISA STIGs. Play a key role in audits and ATO processes.
  • Incident Response: Actively engage in incident response planning and execution, managing security incidents in cloud environments.
  • Documentation: Create detailed security documentation, including system security plans and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and software developers to embed security into all IT operations.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Design and manage monitoring strategies to quickly identify and respond to security issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience. Additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to secure TS/SCI clearance.
  • Minimum of 4 years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in cloud security, ideally Azure.
  • Familiarity with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
  • CISSP, CISM, or a similar security certification is required.
  • Azure security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate) are highly desired.
  • Proficient in Azure security services like Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure AD, and Azure Information Protection.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, identity and access management, and encryption technologies.
  • Experience scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and security tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.

Pay Range: Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
