We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our hybrid cloud infrastructure, focusing on bridging our on-premises solutions with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of on-premises systems with software-defined hybrid services, optimizing performance, security, and scalability. This position requires a strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures, networking, and a passion for software-defined infrastructure, identity, and security best practices.
- Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud solutions by leveraging Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Drive the change to an Entra-based environment to further enhance identity protection and capabilities for a modernizing environment, including user and group management, including account lockout discovery and remediation, SSO & SAML authentication, application, authorization, and conditional access policies.
- Develop and implement automation solutions using tools like Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, Terraform (or similar solutions,) to streamline IT operations and deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to hybrid cloud and local on- premises server, storage, and networking technology infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other IT teams, including networking, security, and application development, to ensure seamless integration and interoperability, including Private key Infrastructure (PKI) and SSL certificate request and renewal management.
- Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards in the hybrid cloud environment.
- Work with healthcare, business teams and third parties to build and enhance an evolving and leading-practice hybrid environment to meet requirements.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement including routine review of product licensing.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest Azure and Entra ID features and technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and software-defined "ways of working" to peers and others within the organization.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with traditional on-premises infrastructure technologies.
- Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM concepts and how they can be continuously improved as the technology environment evolves.
- Extensive experience with Entra ID administration and management.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, Terraform, or other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards, such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, CIS, or SOC 2.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and integration strategies.
- Demonstrated transformational skills in modernizing hybrid solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar.
- Experience with identity management and multifactor authentication (MFA), access control solutions.
- Experience in a regulated industry (Healthcare).
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online Email Litigation Hold and Archiving.
- Experience with M365 management for access security and licensing management for solutions, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:
$42.88 - $54.67
