Job Summary


We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our San Diego, CA, team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who thrives on solving complex HVAC challenges and delivering exceptional service. You'll work on various commercial and industrial systems, playing a key role in supporting our clients and mentoring junior technicians.


Key Responsibilities


  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and cooling towers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate at peak performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components, such as motors, compressors, control systems, and wiring.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by clearly communicating client issues, solutions, and recommendations.
  • Accurately complete work orders, service reports, and other documentation promptly.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians on service calls and projects.

Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
  • Proven expertise with mechanical and electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
  • EPA Universal Certification is required.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience working on large-scale HVAC systems is highly preferred.

Work Environment


Based in San Diego, CA, with travel to various commercial job sites across the region. Work is performed indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions.
