Job Summary
The Senior Human Resources Generalist should have experience as a department of one who plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the human resources functions within the organization. This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, and programs that align with business objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and be adept at navigating complex employee relations issues. This position is an Onsite position
Duties
- Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Utilize ADP for efficient HR processes including payroll, benefits, and employee data management.
- Develop and execute effective HR sourcing strategies to attract top talent through full life cycle recruitment.
- Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to the development of policies
- Leverage social media management for employer branding and recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess workforce needs and develop strategies that support business goals.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least 4 years of human resource management experience required.
- Certifications are a plus.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purposes.
- Expertise in change management principles and practices.
- Experience in benefits administration and employee engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with ADP or similar HRIS platforms.
- Proven ability in talent management, including sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding processes.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to mediate disputes effectively.
- Strong understanding of workforce management techniques to optimize staffing levels.
- Proficient in performance management systems to drive employee development.
