Job Description
The SR HR Generalist is responsible all for the routine functions of the Human Resource (HR) Department including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to implement HR and talent strategies for current and future talent needs.
- Develop recruitment plans, coordinate interviews, and conduct interviews with hiring managers.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, ensuring a positive transition.
- Manage the HRIS system, including PTO management, performance reviews, and training.
- Address employee benefit inquiries, manage open enrollment, and negotiate benefit costs.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented, promoting a culture of compliance.
- Lead company-wide communication efforts for effective information sharing.
- Create and maintain accurate job descriptions.
- Assist directors in assessing employee performance.
- Coordinate continuing education programs.
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends to attract and retain talent.
- Oversee exit interviews.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience, including recruiting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and benefit plan design.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
This position is on-site and will require up to 10% travel. Majority of travel is day trips, overnight stays are limited.
