We are working with a National Distribution client to find their next Senior HR Generalist. If you are looking for a strong mentor and leader in the HR space, this is the role for you. The Senior HR Generalist will be on-site in Portland, OR, focused on Employee Relations, Benefits, and Leave Management. Our client is seeking a candidate who can continue to build and grow the organization's culture and mission. Ideally, ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience and manufacturing or distribution industry experience. This is a Direct Hire position, with an annual salary of up to $85,000, DOE. Our client offers competitive PTO to start, standard M/D/V, 401K, and excellent mentorship within the HR team. This role will provide excellent exposure to leadership as well.
Senior HR Generalist Responsibilities:
- Develop great rapport with managers to coach on performance management, hiring best practices, disciplinary actions, and termination processes
- Perform Benefits Administration
- Administer compensation programs
- Assist with benefits administration including healthcare and retirement benefits
- Answer Employee Relations inquiries
- Leave Management
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist and sole HR contact for an organization
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and a passion for employee relations
- Strong HRIS skills
