The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior HR Coordinator to join our HR Team at Veramed to be responsible for coordinating and supporting a wide range of HR activities in the US and supporting the team globally.
The Senior HR Coordinator is a pivotal member of the HR team, collaborating with the global HR team while directly supporting the Senior HR Manager in the US on various human resources initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting a wide range of HR activities, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with policies and regulations, and contributing to HR efforts that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
You will be responsible for managing all US onboarding, so we need someone who is engaging and efficient with administration and documentation. The role also covers supporting employee engagement and planning and execution of global HR programs or initiatives in the US.
The ideal candidate for the Senior HR Coordinator role will have at least 3-5 years experience ideally working in an international company. You will be a great problem solver who is proactive and calm, with the ability to confidently liaise with people at all levels in the organization. Your role will work closely with our global team in the UK and India. Key Responsibilities
HR Operation administration:
- Manage all US onboarding including communicating with new hires and conducting new hire orientations.
- Manage the probationary process with all new hires.
- Prepare and process employment letters, contracts and other HR documentation.
- Manage HR data and records ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Liaison with external travel agency and US staff to support business related travel
- Conduct HR interviews with junior level staff.
- Track and report metrics for various HR Initiatives.
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and organizational policies.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys.
- Assist in resolving basic employee concerns, providing policy guidance and escalating complex issues.
- Support the planning and execution of global HR programs or initiatives in the US, inclusive of training, wellness and diversity.
- Co-lead US Social club to help drive engagement from US staff.
- Assist in developing and delivering content for training when needed
Benefits and Payroll
- Update payroll tracker weekly to ensure accurate pay and deductions
- Administer benefits in collaboration with benefits brokers.
- Address employee benefit inquiries and provide guidance on available resources.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in HR administration or coordination working in a corporate company.
- Experience working in a multi-state or global organization
- Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws and compliance
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to go into Burlington, MA office 1-2 days a week
